Dogwood - Red Osier

Hardiness: Zone 3.

Size: Shrub up to10 ft.

Planting: Extremely tolerant, Full sun to full shade, can tolerate dry or moist conditions. 

Fruit: Clusters of small white berries. 

Pollination: Self pollinating.

Use: Edible, but very bitter and generally not consumed. 

Ripening: Late fall. 

Pot: 1 gal

Blooms of decorate white flowers in the springs, and great ornamental native variety. The red twigs have attractive ornamental qualities over winter.
