Hardiness: Zone 2.

Size: Tree up to 20 ft.

Planting: Full sun, good soil. 

Fruit: Red in grape like clusters. 

Pollination: Self fertile, but better fruit set planted with cherries, plums or native varieties. 

Use: Good for canning. jams or preserves. 

Ripening: Late August to mid September.

Pot: 2 gal

A native tree to our area, clusters or dark red to blackish berries. Very astringent, but good for jelly and preserves.
