Highbush Cranberry - Wentworth

Hardiness: Zone 2.

Size: Shrub up to 10 ft.

Planting: Extremely tolerant, Full sun to full shade, can tolerate wet conditions. 

Fruit: Bright Red, fruit approx 0.75cm.

Pollination: Self pollinating.

Use: Excellent for jams and preserves.  

Ripening: August to September and will persist on tree for winter. 

Pot: 1 gal and 2 gal.

The berries are not a true cranberry, but can be used the same way as cranberries in cooking, jams and sauces. When eaten raw they have a tart, acid taste.
